Jon Mundy, Ph.D., is resuming his monthly Sunday-afternoon lectures on A Course in Miracles, after a brief hiatus. The next lecture is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., November 11, at the Center for Remembering and Sharing, in Manhattan. Mundy was introduced to A Course in Miracles in 1975 by its “scribe,” Helen Schucman, Ph.D. Since its publication, the Course has sold more than 3 million copies, and it has been translated into 27 languages. Mundy has written 10 books based on the Course, including the bestselling Living A Course in Miracles, now available in eight languages.

“There is something about this book called A Course in Miracles,” he says. “It has about it a diamond-like quality of clarity, durability and literary excellence found only in the world’s most inspired works. There is a dignity, presence, and spirit in the Course. It is also uncompromising in its insistence that heaven is our home and God’s will for us is perfect happiness.”

The topic of Mundy’s November lecture will be Dharma, Karma, and God’s Plan for Salvation. “Dharma is the cosmic law and order that makes life and the universe possible,” he says. “Karma is the action—what we think, say and do. To attain enlightenment, our actions should be based on dharma, what the Course calls God’s plan for salvation. According to the Course, only God’s plan for salvation will work.”
