blog-28Live Vessel /Acera Liven, a series of handmade ceramic tumblers that transform ordinary tap water into alkaline water, will be available for purchase at two upcoming events in NYC: the Awaken Fair January 30-31 at Hotel Pennsylvania, and the Coffee and Tea Festival March 19-20 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

William Robinson of Live Vesselsells the tumblers, whose patented tourmaline anion ceramic glaze can raise the pH of ordinary tap water from five to eight or higher it does this naturally and within minutes. He says alkaline water has been associated with a number of health benefits, including weight loss, detoxification and better hydration. “A recent study on alkaline water reports that people who drank alkaline water lost an 1557695_10153344149062081_3655101858265837989_naverage of 12 pounds over two months,” he says. “It has been shown by clinical research to help the body expel ten heavy metals, it hydrates better than plain water, and it helps supply the body with essential minerals.”

By switching from bottled water to a ceramic Live Vessel travel mug, people can benefit the environment by reducing the amount of plastic that goes to landfills, while also reducing the chlorine and any harmful bacteria that may be in their tap water, he says.
