Qigong Master Leads Fall Retreats at Eastover

Between November and April, Grand Master Jianye Jiang will be leading training retreats in martial arts, Wudang Tai Chi, Medical Qigong and YingYang Qigong at Eastover Estate and Retreat, a 600-acre sanctuary and retreat center in the Berkshires.

Jiang is founder of the USA Health Preservation Association and has been a speaker and presenter at the National Qigong Association for the last 15 years. He is also a wellknown calligraphist whose work has been featured on the sets of Chinese movies and TV shows. Eastover will be offering calligraphy, brush painting and Wushu (martial arts) workshops for locals and guests. Jiang’s upcoming retreat schedule is as follows:

November 4-8: Medical Qigong

November 13-19: Wudang Tai Chi

November 20-22: Shaolin Zhang Qigong

November 25-29: Thanksgiving Retreat, Chinese Yoga and Longmen Qigong

Each retreat coincides with Jiang’s family Meridian Acupressure Self-Massage retreat. Those interested should sign up for each retreat separately.

From June 12 to 27, 2016, Grand Master Mantak Chia will be at Eastover to lead three five-day sessions in qigong and tai chi. Chia is the only teacher twice named Qigong Master of the Year by the International Congress of Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong.
