Dr. David Pollack believes in getting to the root of the problem, not just medicating the symptoms. He believes in treating individuals, not diseases. He understands the connection between mind, body and gut. Pollack Wellness uses comprehensive testing, natural supplements and holistic practices to heal the root cause of varying and sometimes seemingly unrelated symptoms.
Wellness services offered: I have extensive experience with hypothyroidism; IBS; colitis; Crohn’s disease; skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, etc.); infertility/libido issues; mood disorders; GERD; leaky gut; Lyme disease; chronic viruses such as Epstein-Barr; weight; and autoimmune diseases.
Areas of specialty: Digestive disorders, thyroid conditions, autoimmune diseases, weight abnormalities, emotional distress, hormone imbalances.
Philosophy: While I recognize the importance of food and nutrition in the healing process, my goal is to get the body to function at its highest level. Often this begins with digesting food in a normal, healthy way. With a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of the physical, chemical and emotional components of the body, I aim to restore function to the system so that healing can occur and patients can get back to living healthy, active lives.
What do you have planned for 2022? First, we are expanding our nationwide services, including diagnostic testing, tele-consultations, and drop-ship for supplements. Second, we have added several amazing therapies for dealing with past emotional traumas in both a specific and general way.
Anything else our readers should know? For about 15 years, we’ve been helping people find the root cause of their health issue and not only achieved success in eliminating symptoms but often helped them feel the best they ever have. It’s amazing and rewarding for the patient, my staff and me.
