Being an empowered patient means taking responsibility for one’s own health—including opening a clean mouth to the dentist, says Leah Welder, Ph.D., a lead practitioner at the Wellness Center, which developed a DIY oral care kit for the national wellness company Health Healing Energy Ph.D.
