United Palace Now Posting Sunday Spiritual Artistry Videos
For the past 50 years, the United Palace of Spiritual
Arts (UPSA), in Washington Heights, has served both the local and global
communities as a source of inspiration, a house for creativity, and “the home
of spiritual artistry,” says Rev. Heather Shea, UPSA’s spiritual director and
CEO.
“As a spiritual center, it’s important to us
that we stay connected with these communities and transform our programs in accordance
with cultural shifts,” she says. “Our most recent development has been a new
take on Sunday services, with Spiritual Artistry in Action (SAIA). In essence, spiritual
artistry is the exploration of art as a spiritual journey, and we believe that
every person is a spiritual artist.”
Every Sunday at 3 p.m., SAIA posts a 10-minute
service online, accessible from anywhere in the world via Livestream, Facebook
and YouTube.
“In this weekly online clip, our ministry
shares moments of spiritual artistry that we hope will uplift and inspire you
to express yourself creatively throughout the week,” Shea says. “Tune in for 10
minutes this Sunday for Spiritual Artistry in Action, anywhere. “
