Lee Schwalb Healing Provides Holistic, Natural Care in Midtown
Sep 29, 2019 ● By Michael LehrmanThe title “acupuncturist” doesn’t reflect the array of treatments Lee Schwalb provides at his two Midtown healing centers—or the many conditions he can treat. While his approach to healing stems from his education and experience in traditional acupuncture and Chinese medicine, he’s also trained in numerous adjunct therapies that allow him to deliver personalized, holistic care to each patient.
“My treatments involve looking at the body as a whole, taking into account both physical and psychological aspects,” Schwalb says. “I assess the patient’s entire constitution as well as diet and lifestyle to establish a pattern of disharmony. My customized treatment plan might include acupuncture, herbs, aromatherapy, diet and nutrition, supplements and general lifestyle modification.”
A New York State-licensed acupuncturist and board-certified
Chinese herbalist, Schwalb has more than 15 years’ clinical experience treating
patients of all ages, with health issues ranging from idiopathic pain and acute
injuries to hormonal imbalances, allergies and skin disorders.
Schwalb has 2,800 hours of training in acupuncture, herbal
medicine, practical clinical experience, tai chi, and adjunct therapies
including Chinese massage, Eastern nutrition, laser therapy, electric stimulation
and auriculotherapy. He can incorporate modalities such as Kambo detox therapy,
PEMF therapy and sound healing as well.
He also takes insurance, to make his natural, integrative
form of care as accessible as possible.
“I’m dedicated to working with patients to find the most
effective and nurturing path towards restoring optimal health and well-being,”
he says.
