Green Festival Returns to the Javits Center June 10-11

Green Festival, America’s largest and longest-running sustainability and green living event, will return to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center June 10 and 11 for its sixth year in New York City. The festival has become an annual celebration of green living for New Yorkers and the local green community, serving as the city’s most prominent yearly showcase for green brands and sustainable lifestyles.

New to the expo is Farm Sanctuary’s Plant-Powered Run, an opportunity to go the distance for farm animals. Since 1986, Farm Sanctuary’s Walk for Farm Animals events have brought thousands of people together to spread the word that “every farm animal is someone, not something,” and that individuals can take positive steps to help stop cruel farm practices by aligning their actions and choices with their values.

Festival hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free for children aged 16 and younger, and seniors, students and members of the military receive $5 off at the door. Visitors who purchase a weekend pass and spend at least $50 total at the show with its exhibitors will receive $10 cash back.

20% Discount on tickets for the expo with promo code NANY17 at GreenFestivals.org.
