Problem Skin No Mystery with the Right Doctor

I have spent much of my adult life and a part of my childhood under the care of dermatologists. As a child I had very bad seborrhea, and it continued through to my adulthood, along with a myriad of new issues. Of all the doctors I’ve seen over the years, Dr. Mariana Boneva is the only one who actually knew and understood my skin, almost from the first time she saw me. Her treatments have made a remarkable difference in my appearance.

My skin is very porous, and it’s prone to scarring, which leaves dark spots. In fact, at my first appointment with Dr. Boneva a few years ago, I had scarring and spots and was breaking out. I have to admit I was skeptical about whether she could help me, because I’d had many dermatologists over the years and I would see them a few times and then move on to another, but with Dr. Boneva I felt at home. Being African American and having skin that easily scars and keloids presents its own set of problems, and she knew exactly how to treat me.

She consulted with me, and I began a regimen that included laser treatments and exfoliating, and I also began using her products. After the first treatment I saw results, and with subsequent treatments my skin appeared much smoother and the spots were fading.

I can’t live without Dr. Boneva’s creams, masks and lotions. Her apple cider lotion was a fast favorite of mine, and so was her mint masque. I have sensitive skin and tend to break out when using unnatural skin products. I never have that problem with her products.

Dr. Boneva doesn’t just consult with me about what to do on the outside; she also has great knowledge of food and what to consume to help the skin.

As I get older and new problems arise, I know I am in good hands. I wish I had “discovered” Dr. Boneva years ago—she is a friend as well as an intuitive, talented and very knowledgeable doctor.
