Accelerated Interfaith Ministerial Program Begins in September

unnamedAll Faiths Seminary International’s accelerated ministerial program, which leads to ordination as an interfaith minister, will begin September 10 at the Center for Remembering and Sharing, located at 123 4th Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets near Union Square. Classes are held one Saturday per month for a year. Students can audit the first class if they notify AFSI in advance.

Founded by Rabbi Joseph Gelberman in 1999, AFSI is now under the leadership of Rev. Jon Mundy, PhD, and Rev. Kathleen Regan, PhD. There is a required four-day retreat the third week in June, followed by a service of ordination. AFSI also has a master’s and a doctoral program for those who complete the first year of study.

Students can choose from three tracks of study: Comparative Religions, A Course in Miracles or Jewish Studies.
