Blue Rock School, in the Hudson Valley region of New York, invites parents interested in kindergarten through eighth grade to visit their campus on January 23 at 10 a.m. for an information session. “Come meet Blue Rock faculty and hear how our vibrant and creative learning environment nurtures children’s natural curiosity and fosters a lifelong love of learning. Discover how Blue Rock School's unique educational approach brings learning to life,” says admissions director Beverly Stycos.

Blue Rock School is a progressive, independent day school located on a beautiful, four-acre, wooded campus in West Nyack, just 20 miles from the George Washington Bridge. The school was founded in 1987 with the purpose of providing a rich educational experience based on a child-centered and hands-on approach that nurtures children’s innate love of learning, enables them to follow their own natural curiosity, develop as independent thinkers and grow in a dynamic learning community. At Blue Rock School, class sizes are small (10 on average), and students engage in a challenging and creative academic curriculum which is infused with the arts, nature and play. Blue Rock School also offers a five-week Summer Play Camp which is open to the community.

Location: Blue Rock School, 110 Demarest Mill Rd. (off Germonds Rd.), West Nyack, NY. Space is limited. To RSVP, call 535-3353 or email [email protected] For more information visit BlueRockSchool.org.
