Eileen Fisher Opens Learning Lab in Irvington
The new Eileen Fisher Learning Lab in Westchester is offering one- and two-day workshops intended to empower people to create positive change in their lives from the inside out. Themes from this fall’s debut workshop series include healthy communication, the mind-body connection and life purpose.
“I want to help create a world in which we all feel good about who we are inside and what we are contributing,” says Fisher, who herself uses practices like those taught in the workshops. She’s also brought those practices into the workplace: her company prioritizes employee well-being as well as personal and professional growth.
Workshops in October, November and December will focus on yoga for inner vitality, the mother-daughter relationship, discovering your life’s purpose, and more. All workshops feature a free Friday-evening introductory talk. Fisher says the workshops, like her clothes, are designed to help people feel comfortable so they can move in the world with confidence; similarly, the Learning Lab was designed as a simple, beautiful space for learning and discovery where participants will feel welcome to try on new ways of being.
The Learning Lab is located at 50 S. Buckhout St., Irvington, NY. Accessible via Metro North Hudson Line train (only 20 minutes). For more information, visit EileenFisherLearningLab.com.
