Welcome to our July special edition on FOOD! During the development of this issue, I started to realize how many words in this months pages begin with the letter F….Food! Fun! FDA! Fracking! Freedom! So many powerful topics that spark a series of emotional reactions from high to low. On the lighter highside we have the Food, Fun and Freedom. Then on the heavier low side we have the FDA and Fracking. The checks & balances or yin & yang of life show that there are always an equal amount of positives & negatives in any situation and I think this is true of our issue this month. The intercorrelation of these topics is also very interesting. Food can spark emotions of passion, fun and love, while the very threat of their existence placed on them by the FDA & Fracking can spark emotions of disgust, anger and despair.
